Strat Deluxe Thinline Power Tele Peavey Delta Blues ex-gear

Fender American Deluxe Strat Ash - my sons wanted to buy me a present, and this is what they got me. This guitar is stunning - beautifully made, finished and designed. Some will question the authenticity of the sound and playing experience compared to early Strats - but this is a great guitar in it's own right... it is my favourite guitar for electric folk stuff....
'69 Fender Telecaster Thinline reissue (altho' it's not really that anymore) - a great sounding, great playing, super light & very well made guitar. I have added a Fishman Power bridge and a SD 'Lil 59. Dave at Ridgeway Guitars has made a stunning new body for this guitar from swamp ash capped with lightly figured maple and edge bound.I have added a five way switch which allows choice between the neck pickup and single coil and humbucker versions of the bridge pickup and a couple of out-of-phase combinations.
Tokai Jazz Sound Bass - an obvious rip of a Fender Jazz Bass - very nicely made - with the range of sounds you'd expect.

Faith Mercury- is a parlour guitar with a fairly 'small', sweet sound and a short scale length - it has a great tone and is able to cut through a mix of other acoustic instruments. It has a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and ebony fingerboard and bridge - I've fitted a K and K Pure Western Mini piezo pickup to it recently, which gives an amazingly natural amplified sound.

I've recently sold the Jupiter (the larger of the two pictured guitars) - its large body made it increasingly uncomfortable for me to play.
Both of these Faiths are stunning players and incredible value for money - equivalent N. American/ European instruments would cost at least twice as much. I have a feeling that Faith guitars have now disappeared from the market.

Yet another amp, and I'm not going to make the mistake of saying this is the Holy Grail.....  but this Peavey Delta Blues 15 is pretty damn good - the 15" (45cm) speaker gives bags of bottom end and counters a slight harshness in the amp circuit (see Peavey Classic 30) - maybe I should just flash out and buy a Rivera or Matchless - it would probably have been cheaper in the long run.

I use an Ibanez DE7 delay and a Morley Volume/Wah connected via the effects loop; and a Boss CS3 Compression Sustainer  pedal on the front end of the amp.

To amplify the acoustic pickups on my guitars I use a Roland AC60 acoustic amp. This is a brilliant amp, which also gives a great clean sound for magnetic pickups - my Strat sounds so Strat-y through this it's hard to believe.
