The "Classic Hawk Plus™" is wound with the same enamel coated vintage-style wire and uses the same Alnico II "singing" magnets as Gibson's highly regarded "57 Classic Plus™" vintage humbucker replica. The tone is warm, smooth and capable of that "vintage" crunch so popular with today's Rock players, yet lends itself to virtually all types of music from Country to Jazz.

The new "Super Hawk™" is a high output, ceramic magnet pickup with similar characteristics as Gibson's 500T "Super Ceramic™" pickup which is found on Gibson guitars such as the Flying V, Explorer, Les Paul Classic Plus and Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul. The "Super Hawk™" gives Gibson Nighthawk owners a powerful, blazing tone with extended harmonics, sustain and note definition. Primarily intended for hard rock and metal, the "Super Hawk" is not for the weak of heart.

Both the "Classic Hawk Plus™" and "Super Hawk™" pickups feature adjustable pole pieces, full wax potting for feedback suppression and come in either double black or "zebra" open coil designs and carry the Gibson Limited Lifetime Warranty, the longest in the industry
