 | The Landmark series was produced in a series of finishes/colours meant to represent National Parks and Monuments in the US - Glacier Blue, Sequoia Red, Mojave Burst, Navajo Turquoise, and Everglades Green. This Limited Edition also featured a transfer/decal showing which park or monument was being depicted. Nice idea and pretty tasteful! |
Fore-runner of the BluesHawk and Little Lucille, the Nighthawk, which appeared in 1993, piloted the new outline and scale-length that was continued with the later 'Hawks. Other elements that continued in the Blueshawk were also introduced - | the bridge design | | through body stringing | | the simplified control style |

 | | | | if you've got this on your headstock - its a Landmark series NightHawk | bronze top hat knobs | the same (crappy?) tuners as the rest of the 'Hawk range - "DeLuxe" seems to be an exaggeration | | | | the same simple but effective approach to controls as the BluesHawk - but no Varitone - the tone control pull-pot activates a coil-tap | new mini-humbuckers | the control cavity of the NightHawk | | | | twin mini-humbuckers on the Landmark series NightHawk | a neat and largely unadorned headstock | | | |
