the Blueshawk is now listed by Gibson as a discontinued model on the Gibson website - does this mean we all now own a rare, vintage Gibson?
stop press - April 2008 - because I am not able to deal with the volume of enquiries I receive I have revived the blueshawk forum - you will need to use the password - gibson - to contribute - I will try to get on the forum regularly, but there are plenty of 'Hawk experts out there....
Tone - who runs this site - was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis Autumn/Fall 2006 - sorry if you have sent enquiries and registration info recently - I have not been able to update the site for some months, or respond to e-mails (or play guitar for that matter) because my hands are painful and swollen and I often feel unwell. I'm struggling at the moment - I will add registrations soonish, but I have been able to reply to some queries recently...
Tone's latest guitar -
- a custom bodied, swamp ash and maple, edge-bound, Thinline Power Telecaster with a Fishman acoustic bridge, Fender Texas Special neck pickup, Seymour Duncan Lil'59 in the bridge, five way switching and Fender maple neck. The body was made by Dave at Ridgeway Guitars. Another lightweight and versatile guitar to put alongside my Blueshawk.
