ESM's mods

1) Removed the Varitone Bypass capability on the tone Push/Pull switch (no 100% bypass).
2) Rewired the free tone Push/Pull switch to have the new function of optionally adding the Dummy Coil (tone up) in series (hum cancelling) for any pickup combination via pickups common ground. (up, coil in series with pickups common , down coil shorted to gnd)
3) Rewired pickup selector as a standard 2 pickup guitar with standard N, N+B (parallel humbucking), B (removed the stock Dummy Coil options see 2 above)
4) Removed neck pickup treble bleed network.

When the dummy coils bypassed (tone down) the Blueshawk now has the top end of a Strat but with the fullness and character of my '58 Les Paul TV model. Much more open sounding.

Note: the above re-wiring retains all of the stock capability except for the following:

1) Lost the Neck pickup treble bleed network, but
gained added top end when Dummy Coils is bypassed.
2) Lost output capability using pickup selector setting 2
because the Neck and Bridge pickups are now in parallel
(previously series). But, gained much more versatile tone
for use with chords.

Alternately, one could simply use the tone switch to jumper the Dummy Coil out. This retains the most stock wiring, but I much more preferred the sound of pickup selector setting 2 when the Neck and Bridge pickups were operating in parallel.
